| People trapped in the swirling waters of a hurricane. Head Start children from one of Virginia's toughest neighborhoods. American Indians caught mid-dance in full regalia. Directors of museums surrounded by the emblems of their collection. Famous jazz musicians on stage, lost in the sound that envelops them, while members of the crowd celebrate in the pouring rain. These are the kinds of timely, professional, captivating images that MikoPhoto specializes in, and our years of experience in capturing them are at your command.
MikoPhoto is the creation of Miko Munden, who began his visual career as a mall studio photographer and black & white film processor. Through his subsequent work as a fine arts instructor at Norfolk State University, assignment photographer for Lifetouch National School Studios, lead photographer for Candid Color, and freelance photographer for Inside Business Magazine and the Associated Press, he refined his skills in his chosen fields of commercial imaging, editorial/documentary photography, and environmental portraiture.
